Good ideas. Many degrees, especially MBAs, are highly questionable as to their paybacks. You are wise to question this before jumping in and paying your time and money.

I think that in certain degrees its better to have a MBA. It would depend on your job also.  In some careers it doesnt matter is you have an associates, bachelors, or a masters, you are where you are. But in other careers they will pay you more based on your degree. I would look into where a MBA can get you in a career before spending another $30,000 on it.
